CEREG is an international regenerative certification scheme open to all.

Points system

Why have we created the points system? Because until now there was no tool available in agriculture to measure farmers' practices in a simple and quantifiable way.

After all, there are big differences between farmers in the agrotechnical and other soil and crop management practices used. This points system highlights these differences and the complexity of farming.

Our aim is to use this system to help farmers see where they are in soil-focused farming practices, where their gaps are and how they can improve. It helps farmers track their own progress.

The scoring system provides a benchmark for other farmers, buyers and professional communities to judge a farm's level of regenerative agriculture.

It is also the basis for the Association's Regenerative Certification, which is an even more detailed, comprehensive, all-encompassing and detailed point system.

  1. Find two association members who would like to refer you! If you only have one member referral, we'll pay you a host visit.
  2. Send a short description of yourself to info@tmg.hu-ra. This can be a word document. In a couple of sentences, tell us: where and how much land you farm, when you started, how you got started, when you switched, when you started growing without rotation, what rotation you use, what cover crops you use, what your philosophy is, what your goal is, where you are going. Send us some photos that you think would show your farm, illustrate who you are and what you are growing on your land. Include your contact details (phone, email)!
  3. Twice a year, at its January and June meetings, the association's membership decides who to admit to its ranks from among the applicants, for a two-year probationary period. Once this period has expired, you become a full member!
