Väderstad machines are designed to create optimum conditions for the germination and emergence of crops. Our main ambition is to develop machines that can perform multiple tasks with high efficiency in a single pass. We develop cultivation techniques, produce different seed drills, cultivators, seed drills and rollers to meet the challenges of different climates.

The ultimate in versatility, the Carrier short disc is an excellent disc tillage tool for both basic cultivation and seedbed preparation. Väderstad offers high quality trailed or towed cultivators such as Opus, TopDown, Swift or Cultus, which save time and fuel. The seedbed makers in the NZ range streamline the seedbed preparation process by reducing the number of operations and increasing transverse and longitudinal uniformity. And our Rollex and Rexius clod rollers are designed for a wide range of tasks, from levelling to clod mulching, with a range of ingenious designs for perfect results and long life.

Väderstad seed drills combine high-speed seedbed preparation, sowing and levelling in a single pass. Both the Rapid and Spirit seeders guarantee impressive sowing quality in varying conditions. Seedbed preparation, sowing, levelling and compaction are all done in one pass. They can be used in conventional, ploughing or reduced pass technology, or even in direct seeding. Setting several world records for sowing per seeder, the Tempo range sets a new benchmark with PowerShoot technology that delivers unrivalled precision at twice the sowing speed of conventional seeders. The Proceed, one of the Swedish manufacturer's latest multi-award-winning seeders, creates a whole new category. It is the first seed drill that can be used for sowing the full range of crops per seed, regardless of row spacing, allowing the use of a single seed drill for all crops. Thanks to the seed-by-seed system, the same yield can be achieved for the same crop of cereals, with half the seed rate. The Seed Hawk is the direct drill specialist, with its uniquely designed double knife coulters that create a clean seed trench free of stubble residue, placing both seed and fertiliser on the untilled soil. Our seed drills meet the demands of precision farming, such as staggering, row-by-row blocking, differential application, Isobus compatibility, combined with advanced iPad-based E-Control.
