A few sentences about the event
The aim of the event is to show the transition of a small farm in the Highlands - and the reasons for it - to no-till farming. The fields have been under no-till cultivation for 5 years, strictly using cover crops whenever they can fit between two main crops.
The Education Day will take place at the estate of Csaba Keszegh, who will host the day. Csaba farms on sandy, loose-textured but very heterogeneous soils. During this event you will learn about the benefits and challenges of NO-TILL cultivation in this environment.
At the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase the book "No-till for Beginners", the first no-till book in Hungarian, courtesy of the Soil Renewal Farmers Association. The members of the association have undertaken the translation, proofreading and financed the whole project. You can buy it on the spot for just £11,999, a better price than ordering online.

Get to know
the host
Csaba Keszegh is a farmer in Csótfa in the Highlands, where he cultivates 50 hectares of land. He has been farming for 22 years.
In the past, in addition to conventional arable crops, he grew peppers and potatoes using conventional methods. For the last 5 years, he has been growing only arable crops with no-till technology, without any tillage.
GY.I.K.
It is especially recommended for those who already have experience in soil conservation technologies, but especially for those who are seriously interested in no-till farming.
We have an indoor venue, so we always organise an education day.
Toilets are provided on site.
