Njegovo upadanje ima izjemno \u0161kodljive posledice za celoten ekosistem Zemlje in v njem za \u010dlove\u0161tvo. Eden najve\u010djih dejavnikov sedanje krize biotske raznovrstnosti je monokulturno kmetijstvo. Regenerativno kmetijstvo namenja posebno pozornost pove\u010danju biotske raznovrstnosti nad in pod zemljo, saj ta neposredno vpliva na kro\u017eenje hranil, zdravje in kakovost tal ter odpornost rastlin na bolezni. Da bi pove\u010dali raznolikost, regenerativni kmetje uporabljajo raznolik kolobar in pokrivne rastline.
